Welcome to Crusaders Baseball

Galatians 5:22-26 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."  Too often in youth sports the events are taken over by strife, jealousy, firts of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy among other things.  We seek to create and provide a fun environment while also driving a competitive spirit that will not quit.

Romans 11:18 - "do not be arrogant toward the branches.  If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you."  Playing as one team means that we fully understand we are not successful without one another nor do we lose alone.  We win and lose as a team, and the team will protect and support one another whether winning or losing.  This is a requirement of any Crusader team member (coaches, parents, and players).

1 Cor 9:25 - "Every athlete exercises self-control in all things.  They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable."  Whether a member of our team has success or that of another we will exercise self-control because our faith is greater than baseball.

1 Cor 9:24 - "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize?  So run that you may obtain it."  While we will bear the fruits we will also compete.  We will teach and encourage all Crusaders to finish strong regardless of the score.

Philippians 3:13-14 - "But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."  Simply put...next play...and not my glory but His glory be done.
